BeeEducated certification is designed to recognise demonstrated practical beekeeping competence, not simply course attendance.
Current status: BeeEducated is a private certification against the BeeEducated Practical Beekeeper Standard. It is not presented as an Ofqual-regulated qualification unless and until formal regulatory recognition is obtained.
What certification means
Learners work through structured learning, gather practical evidence against Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours and complete an End Point Assessment when the portfolio gateway is met.
Pass, Merit or Distinction
The final assessment is intended to distinguish secure competence from stronger analysis and highly developed synoptic judgement. Higher grades are not about obscure facts; they reflect the quality of reasoning, integration and reflection.
A live verification record
Successful learners will have a BeeEducated Competency Passport with a verifiable certification status, grade, standard version and annual CPD status while keeping private evidence private.
