BeeEducated began as a beekeeper-education project and is being developed into a UK-wide practical certification pathway focused on real competence, evidence-led management and healthier colonies.
Assessment expertise matters
The programme design is informed by vocational assessment principles including competency-based assessment, Knowledge Skills and Behaviours, portfolio evidence, assessor standardisation, internal quality assurance and End Point Assessment methodology.

The objective is not to create more paperwork for beekeepers. It is to make the learning journey clearer, help mentors create useful practical opportunities and provide a fair way for learners to demonstrate what they can actually do.
