The Competency Passport is the private working record during development and assessment. After successful certification it supports a public, verifiable BeeEducated credential.

- KSB progress and evidence history;
- Assessment Plans and next evidence opportunities;
- mentor and witness records where applicable;
- formal review records and actions;
- Gateway and EPA readiness;
- Update CPD and Competence Updates when required.
A permanent BeeEducated identity
The first successful certification creates one permanent person ID in the format BE-YYYY-NNNN. Future BeeEducated Standards are added to the same identity rather than creating disconnected certificates.

Credential & Development membership
The first 12 months are included with successful certification. Thereafter annual membership supports the live credential, ordinary Update CPD and Competence Updates required to keep the Practical Beekeeper credential aligned with evolving Standards.
Membership payment does not purchase competence or Current status. A credential is validated as Current only when the applicable requirements are actually satisfied. A returning credential holder does not pay for missed membership years; they rejoin, complete any necessary catch-up update requirements and regain Current validation when those requirements are met.
Public and private information
The public credential can show the chosen display name, verified profile photo, identity-verification marker, BE ID, Standards achieved, versions, certification dates, demonstrated competency areas and current validation. Private evidence, assessor feedback, sensitive identity information and internal QA records remain private.
